**Physical Appearance**: A particularly small, roughly middle-aged Sailor with deep red skin, swathed in multicoloured spiral patterns. He is often difficult to recognise in the Guild due to the frequency at which his pressure suit is repainted to fresh, bold patterns whenever he gets tired of the last coat. Has a bold, grandiose manner of swirling his tentacles to communicate that is easily recognisable. 

**Public Bio**: Few words can sum up Sweeping Tides succintly except for "bombastic". A renowned Sailor artist from the Nation of the Eternal Sky, Sweeping Tides is (often overly) excitable and always eager to socialise. His favourite pastime is talking to, or at, new faces around the guild and regaling them with details of his latest art project. He can often be found singing the praises of his pressure suit's opposable thumbs. Outright refuses to be nicknamed Sweep, his name is _Sweeping Tides_ and you will use it in full, thank you very much. He is often subjected to it anyway. Has a habit of referring to everyone he meets as "my good fellow".
