Sample 1
Major Action
Aim: Lead an expedition team into the uncharted jungles of the planet Nypson 260B, aiming to bring back a sample of the unique material Hanns’ agent within the Cartographers' Guild told him about.
Description:
Hanns will use the information his agent told him during Emails about a settlement of locals native to Nypson 260B seemingly having an abundance of this unique material. He will research in the Cartographers' Library about the planet and any previous encounters with the locals.
Using this knowledge, Hanns will give the go-ahead to his friend Chewkaka that the expedition can begin and will gather a small expedition team from the Cartographers' Station to set off for Nypson 260B. (Chewkaka’s player agreed last Uptime to help Hanns in exchange for some samples of the material).
(Secret): Hanns will deliberately withhold the real reason for the expedition to his team, attempting to make it look like him and Chewkaka simply want to establish contact with the locals of the planet.
While navigating the jungle, Hanns will use his trusty AI Assistant to help in keeping the group out of any danger. Additionally, Hanns will use his Rissi features to navigate the shrubbery and obstacles of the jungle with ease.
When arriving at the settlement, Hanns will let Chewkaka lead the peaceful contact with the locals, while he slips out of view and secretly steals as much of the material as possible.
After stealing as much as he can carry, Hanns will re-join the group and cheerfully wish the locals goodbye, aiming to exfiltrate back to their ship using the helicopter he managed to steal last downtime.
(Note): As a contingency in the case Hanns gets spotted and the plan goes wrong, he will use his Data Transmitter to alert one of the expedition members on board the ship to fly the group’s helicopter into the village for a hasty extraction.
Relevant Quirks:
Observant: Hanns is looking out for anything suspicious and out of place while leading his expedition team.
Quick Thinker: Hanns' previous life as a smuggler means he has gotten out of worse scrapes than some alien jungle.
Prowess (Piloting): Hanns is an accomplished pilot, which might prove to be important if a quick getaway is needed in the group’s helicopter.
Nemesis: A notorious crime boss Hanns has disrespected in the past, Jebbu ‘The Hatt’, knows he will be going on this mission and may seek to sabotage the mission as revenge.
Clumsy: Hanns is known to get impatient and careless. This might tip off the locals of Hanns’ real plan.
Red Shirt: When Hanns says to 'never tell me the odds', said odds usually land him in rather perilous situations.

Goal Action
Aim: Research Technology: After receiving the sample, Hanns would like to use it in an attempt to develop a special metallic alloy with an increased strength and resistance compared to most regular materials.

Minor Actions
Before the expedition, Hanns will meet Chewkaka in their favourite bar and cheer to the inevitable success of their mission.
Hanns will offer the technology he has managed to research with the unique material from Nypson 230B as a peace tribute to Jebbu 'The Hatt' in an attempt to calm the crime boss.
If the mission goes wrong, Hanns will vehemently blame a random member of the expedition team for supposedly being the one to startle the locals.
Sample 2
Major Action
Aim: I would like to board the research vessel storing Sample 113 so I can steal it for myself and sell it to the highest bidder.
Description: Using Galta Wreck's Espionage Agent onboard the ship, I will find the weak points in the ship's security before leading a boarding action with my crew. We will aim to subdue them without violence, but I have no qualms with shooting to kill if necessary. Galta has offered to help, but I don't trust her, so will send her with the diversion team attacking the ship's bridge and extracting her agent while I take the sample. When we get back to port, I would like to sell the sample to a fence, splitting the proceeds 60:40, should Galta prove trustworthy.
