====== The Legacy of Fathomless Depths ======

"Okay class, settle down." The teacher hushes his students and begins her lesson.

"Today, we'll be learning about the political state of the Thousand Colours Moon before the coup on the Eternal Sky was restructured." 

The entire class groans (or does whatever the Sailor equivalent of a groan is).

The teacher motions to a picture of a serious-looking blue Sailor in a mech suit. "This, class, was the Head Researcher of the Curved Leaf back before FTL was invented. She worked hard for the country; overseeing huge technological advancements and causing the Curved Leaf to be a very successful place. The problem is, when FTL was invented, Fathomless Depths went to advocate for the Curved Leaf at the Guild, and events led her to be forced to resign from her position."

The class are curious. What events? What happened? They ask questions, but the teacher dismisses them. She simply continues to teach.

"This leader went from a successful researcher leading a nation to a helpless individual watching as a war occurred on her home planet. But she didn't give up. She aided in exposing the Elders, and once the war was over, she volunteered to help those in need, as part of the S.E.A. project. The data suggested she change her path in life, and that's what she did."

"What I'm trying to teach you here students, is that sometimes things will happen in life that will push you off course, and that's ok. Provided you're willing to change and make the decisions the data suggests that you make, you'll be in good hands. If Fathomless Depths didn't do what she did back when she saw the bug for the first time, well... let's just say you wouldn't be in this lesson right now".

The teacher winks (or does whatever the Sailor equivalent of a wink is), heads back to her desk, and looks at the sign written on it. It reads FATHOMLESS DEPTHS.
