Myths and Legends
Welcome to the fourth edition of Myths and Legends. In this text, you will find a patchwork (to use a Balra metaphor) of stories that reflect key cultural phenomena from various homeworlds. From religion to revolution, and from moral fables to dystopian warnings, these stories speak not only to the history of our peoples, but also to our present-day psyches – they reveal what matters to us.
This guide is part of our series 'Culture and Creativity: Compilations from the Cartographers' Guild'. The series compiles records of cultural artefacts contributed by members of the Cartographers' Guild over the past 200 cycles. All volumes in the series provide an insight into the richness of our various cultures. Our online manuscript is updated regularly, so please submit contributions to our Head Librarian if you feel anything is missing or incorrect. We apologise if our printed copies may contain more limited information.
