Cartographer Comments
- Transliterations of the ancestral names of the Hyla have been used instead of the conventional systematic names.
Heleop
Small, arid planet near to Archeo. Persistent flares across surface. Fast winds within limited atmosphere. Surface rocks mostly broken down into sand. Wreckage of Hylan ship found buried in sands.
Mahntel
Medium terrestrial planet in eccentric orbit. High sulphur dioxide content in atmosphere, arising likely from photochemistry or volcanic activity on planet surface.
Anamiph
Small, terrestrial, formerly life-bearing planet. Ancestral homeworld of the Hyla, covered in decaying Hylan architecture. Atmospheric content high in industrial waste, ground water polluted. Excepting small sections of grassland, planetary environment incapable of sustaining life. High elevation differences across planetary surface, majority formerly covered in rainforest.
Grof and Anuran
Twin moons in tidally-locked orbit around Anamiph. Radii approximately one quarter of the planet. Surfaces barren and lifeless, with some industrial waste from prior Hylan spacefaring expeditions.
Rahnics
Medium sized rocky planet. Carbon dioxide atmosphere. Some signs of attempted Hyla colonisation efforts, but no permanent facilities established.
Loph
Large gas giant, with long cycle. Planetary rings present, high in ice content. Persistent storms across the planetary surface, focused primarily at poles.
